Handstands are for everyBODY, at any age (I did my first handstand at 50!), and they are just plain fun!

Handstands improve your balance, boost your mood, improve shoulder strength, build core strength, improve bone density, circulation, and breathing!

Learning to Handstand is like solving a puzzle with lots of pieces – there are so many lessons that you can apply to everyday life: how you manage uncertainty, how you stay consistent, how you address fear, how you maintain focus and concentration… and more!

I’m Susan.Yoga Teacher. Handstand Coach. Athlete.

Handstands are really just a metaphor for the harder, more complicated things in life. Things that seem impossible become possible when you break them down into smaller pieces. In the last 5 years I have taught over 5,000 students from more than 50 countries. I have watched them gain confidence both physically and mentally as they learned to hold even after (literally) picking themselves up over and over. That’s why I love this job!
